Trial Skills Workshop

Presented by Miami-Dade FAWL with the Honorable Samantha Ruiz Cohen, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Sharpen your trial skills  at our annual two-day workshop led by distinguished faculty including  members of the judiciary and highly accomplished practicing lawyers. The  workshop features hands-on training and feedback  regarding:

· Opening statements and closing arguments

· Direct and cross examination of witnesses

· Admission and objection to the admission of evidence

· Impeachment of witnesses

This year we will tackle a  brand new case file featuring modern facts and evidence, including  emails and social media posts.  Be sure to sign up early as this workshop  requires advance preparation!
