Where do you work?

What type of legal work do you do? 

I assist clients in complex business disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration forums. My breadth of experience with business disputes covers breach of contract, commercial torts, class action defense, and appellate issues.

When and why did you join MDFAWL?

I joined MDFAWL thanks to the encouragement of Past President Diana Mendez, who demonstrates the mission of MDFAWL through her professionalism, mentorship, and community involvement. I was excited to join to continue making meaningful connections with other women attorney and contribute to my community.

What advice do you have for women in the legal profession?

A statement from Justice Sandra Day O'Connor comes to mind: “We don’t accomplish anything in the world alone...." Find like-minded people who support you, both during the highs and the lows, to help you accomplish your goals in this profession.

When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it?

During my free time, I enjoy taking different fitness classes or listening to an audiobook.
