What was your most rewarding professional achievement?
It's a tie. Securing a trademark registration—despite challenges from the United States Patent and Trademark Office—for a client whose entire business centered around that mark, and being invited to speak to an enthusiastic group of entrepreneurs about the integral role of trademarks in growing a business.
What advice do you have for women in the legal profession?
Dream big and know that anything and everything is possible. Surround yourself with other driven professionals from whom you can learn—be curious, ask questions, and make meaningful connections. And of course, join FAWL! :-)
What does your pro bono practice look like?
Currently, I am working with local charities on trademark matters—one that is focused on funding cancer research and another that strives to end homelessness.
